St Paul, Minnesota-January 12, 2004 – MentorMate, LLC, a St Paul-based mobile software application developer and services company announced that an agreement with PalmOne, a Sunnyvale, California based technology company had been secured. The companies will work together on the strategic mobile learning software solution, iQpakk, on which MentorMate was founded in 2001. iQpakk is a mobile content management learning solution designed to prevent learner frustration and fatigue, increase retention of information over time and match learner ability with difficulty of material.

The combined offerings of both companies provide a complete end-to-end solution for customers looking for cost-effective ways to author, deliver and manage training content for their students. MentorMate provides the iQpakk solution designed for the PalmOne device to take advantage of mobile learning advantages of the many integrated features that iQpakk new high-performance, low-cost platform offers.

PalmOne and MentorMate host joint online training webinar on iQpakk. MentorMate, Inc. at the request of PalmOne Inc. conducted the first ever online training demonstration for members of the PETC program - a national group of leading educators using handheld technology. The MentorMate event garnered the highest ever participation in a PalmOne webinar by far. The 60 minute session included hands on training in how to build an interactive learning course for handhelds using MentorMate's iQpakk web tool and a 10 minute period for questions and answers. 
Members of the PETC group include decision makers from K-12 schools, colleges and universities from throughout the country. These members will in turn train faculty and staff members in their organizations in how to use iQpakk to build their own courses. 

Following the end of the seminar Martha Rolley the PalmOne national K-12 education coordinator said that the demonstration was "perfect" and "exceeded my expectations." Chad Johnson of PLATO, Inc. said that the presentation was "very thorough." PETC participants summed up the hour by saying, "A great demonstration, the hour just flew by."
